The Westbad in Leipzig is an iconic building that was originally built as an indoor aquatic centre in 1928. After its conversion to an event space it received a wayfinding system that was custom designed for just this purpose. Special pictograms were made: the newly designed are a hint to the former use of the building. The typography was selected to match the original lettering from that time. All signage on the walls was applied with paint and stencils, to make it look as if it always had been there.
